With this blog, I hope to reach out to people on many levels, from topics with others that suffered Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome (SADS), learning to live with an ICD (Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator), or just life in general, kids, health, the possibilities are endless!
Thanks for taking the time to get to know me!

Hello there! Its great to meet a fellow heart survivor with a desire to make a difference and reach out to others:) How long have you had your ICD? Amazing at how technology has changed over the years…so thankful we live during an age where we have been fortunate enough to have these implants to save our lives.
Its great to meet you and I am certainly looking forward to following your blog:)
Thanks so much 🙂 I will be blogging about how I got my ICD in the next few posts 🙂 I also am looking forward to reading yours as well 🙂
Just noticed you subscribed to my blog. Thanks so much! I’ll keep an eye on yours, too… 🙂
Oops, forgot to say that I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and a host of other health challenges, so we are both survivors every day!
I actually just heard about this syndrome, yes we are both survivors 🙂
Thank you for following back 🙂 I look forward to reading yours 🙂
Hi, I came across your blog! I am an avid runner, female. I had a svt experience when running and fainted before that, running. I was implanted with an ICD at the end of April of this year, and I am also on beta blockers. I am back running, but much slower and I now wear a heart rate monitor. I also am just doing about 3-4 miles 4 days a week now, instead of the heavier stuff I used to do. I feel great. The beta blockers slow me down a bit, but that is ok. I wanted to check in to see how you were doing these days? It is always nice to meet people who have similar conditions. Are you working out?
Natasha
Natasha thanks for reading! I know I haven’t written in awhile but I plan to write again soon. I did start running again last year but the dr told me that I shouldn’t so right now I ride bike, walk and yoga for exercise. I plan to run again but slowly 🙂 I couldn’t agree more with your comment about to meet people with similar conditions it helps understand what we go thru.
